Shake It Up!

"I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for Mine Own sake, and will not remember thy sins" (Isaiah 43: 25).

Remember the etch a scketch? The classic children's toy allows a child(or an adult) to envision a masterpiece and attempt to create it; however, after you've made a mess and are unhappy with your creation, you simply shake it up until all the writing is gone, and start over again.The new year allows us to have a sort of "etch a sketch" mentality. Find the little messes you've created, shake your life up envision something new, and then start creating. We cannot continue to pile mess on top of mess, and we cannot do or create the exact same things we did before and expect to get a new, beautiful masterpiece.

Jesus allowed himself to hang on a cross, that we might "shake it up", erase our sins and begin again.

Seek God, try something new and be willing to shake your life up every now and then. Keep shaking things up…until you get it right!
